Ultrasound-guided Sclerotherapy
A Cutting-Edge Treatment for Eliminating Varicose Veins
Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy is an innovative and highly effective method for treating larger, deeper varicose veins. Offered at Medicart Ottawa: Vein & Aesthetic Clinic, this non-invasive technique improves the appearance of your legs, relieves pain, and enhances blood circulation. With great precision, it targets varicose veins and avoids the need for surgery.

Relieve Varicose Veins
and Improve Blood Circulation
Using ultrasound, we visualize the varicose veins, allowing us to inject them with a foam medication. This foam causes fibrosis of the vein walls, leading to their gradual elimination while relieving associated symptoms.
Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy alleviates symptoms and the sensation of heavy legs. This technique improves blood circulation and the overall quality of life for patients. It is a precise, non-invasive, and fully outpatient procedure, meaning no time off work is required.
At Medicart Ottawa: Vein & Aesthetic Clinic, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy can be combined with other treatments, such as injections for small varicosities and the endovenous VenaSeal™ procedure, to maximize results and provide personalized, optimal care for each patient.
